Pre Pointe Assessments

The Juon Pointe Pre-Pointe assessment is a unique assessment for dancers that combines medical expertise with an understanding of the dancer’s technique, strength and alignment.

Our assessments are medically validated, ensuring they are both accurate and reliable for dancers’ safety and pointe progression.

Full Assessment

This is ideal for young dancers age 11 and over, studying Grade 4 or higher.

• Full body and risk assessment looking at placement, strength and alignment.
• Special exercises will be given to correct placement, increase strength and prepare for pointe work.
• Why taping is important and how to tape your toes for demi pointe and pointe work.
• A fitting for demi pointe shoes and / or pointe shoe if applicable.

Each dancer will receive a full written report with approximately 20 – 40 photos documenting our findings, accompanied by detailed explanations.

Duration: 120 minutes – In person.
